HR Generalist

Leonard Workforce Solutions is recruiting an HR Generalist for our client, Techniserv in Berwick, PA.

This is a full-time, ON-SITE position. The typical schedule is Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm.

Starting salary range is $70,000 - $80,000/yr. DOE + bonus opportunities.

TECHNISERV is a growing engineering and manufacturing company specializing in high-purity process equipment for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. We design and build bioreactors, fermentors, and custom sanitary process systems used in critical production environments.

We’re looking for an HR Specialist to provide operational HR support across the site, ensuring effective administration of HR policies, employee records, onboarding, and HR systems. This role partners closely with site leadership and the HR Business Partner to support employees and implement HR initiatives that strengthen organizational performance and culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day HR support for site leadership and employees

  • Support employee relations, onboarding, recruiting, and HR inquiries

  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations

  • Assist with disciplinary processes and consistent application of HR policies and procedures

  • Support implementation and maintenance of HR systems, including Oracle HCM

  • Coordinate onboarding, training, and employee development activities

  • Assist managers with performance management processes

  • Support benefits administration and employee communications

  • Partner with HR leadership to implement company-wide HR initiatives

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BBA) from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience

  • 3–5+ years of HR experience in a similar role

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employee relations

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Oracle HCM systems

  • Manufacturing or engineering industry experience

  • Experience supporting multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of employment law and HR compliance practices
